The DSA provides basic Risk Assessment & Method Statement template documents for the range of drilling and sawing activities. These can be adapted to suit a particular job / site environment. Also available is a draft layout for a COSHH Assessment.

Code of Safe Working Practice

Members receive 3 free copies of the DSA Code of Safe Working Practice which provides a comprehensive statement of safe working practices in the Drilling and Sawing Industry, and is updated periodically. Further copies can be purchased.

Accident Reporting

Annually the DSA gathers accident statistics from the members as part of an Accident Survey carried out by the NSCC. This enables us to monitor safety performance within our industry and to promote it to clients and insurers.

DSA Safety Club

This service offers an information and advice line, updates to health and safety developments, annual health check, safety management systems and will also act as your competent person. If you would like to join the club or discuss in more detail please contact the DSA office.

Rockwool

Rockwool has provided us with a technical manual for Fire Stopping which is available for DSA members. For a copy please contact us. This is also available on the DSA and Rockwool websites.
