OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

The primary objectives of the Association as agreed by the Board are to:-

- Represent Drilling and Sawing Contractor members within the Construction Industry generally.

- Liaise with other bodies within the Construction Industry.

- Improve the commercial relationship between specialist subcontractors and our main contractors.

- Publicise the activities of the Drilling & Sawing Association through various media.

- Promote the use of Drilling and Sawing Techniques within the Construction Industry.

- Promote membership of the Association and establish criteria for membership.

- Establish a Board of Directors and / or Committees to represent the members.

- Arrange regular meetings where members can exchange views.

- Provide a forum for liaison between contractor and supplier members.

- Make Training and Certification Schemes available for members within the overall Construction Industry arrangements.

- Supply members with ongoing information on a range of safety, technical, commercial and legal matters, including changes in legislation. Provide suitable helplines.

- Provide members with the benefits of group purchasing and discount schemes.

- Supply draft documentation to meet legal requirements.
