Industry Representation

The DSA are members of the NSCC which acts as a trade body for specialist contractors within the Construction Industry and provides representatives on a range of bodies including CITB, CSCS, JCT, etc.

Helplines

Through the NSCC, the DSA members have access to Helplines / Advisory Services covering:-
- Health & Safety
- Industrial Relations
- Legal & Contractual
- Business & Tax.

Details of how to contact the Helplines are available from the DSA office. Basic enquiries are usually free, but charges may be made for in depth support.

Adjudication Services

The NSCC provides free access for our members to the Association of Independent Construction Adjudicators (AICA) – an independent adjudication service which is experienced in dealing with specialist contractor disputes. Further details available from the DSA office.

Newsletters

The NSCC publishes its own newsletter called “Newsline” approximately every two months. The DSA distributes copies to all members free of charge.

Construction Initiatives

The DSA supports NSCC initiatives such as the “Fair Payment Charter”.
