GROUP BUYING

The DSA has recently started to look at areas where our buying power as a group can bring benefits to members, particularly the smaller firms.

Equipment Hire

Tool Hire
An agreement has been negotiated with Speedyhire whereby members are entitled to a discount of 50% on list prices. The DSA also receives a small annual rebate based on the total DSA business. This does not affect members who already enjoy a discount of 50% or more from Speedyhire. If you wish to take advantage of this scheme, please contact the DSA office.

Lifting Gear Hire
An agreement has been reached with Speedylift to provide members with a minimum discount of 25% off list rates. For further details contact the DSA Office.

HSS
An agreement has also been reached with HSS to supply us with tools and equipment on hire at a discount of 50% off published prices. For details contact the DSA Office.

Insurance

Liability Insurance
An exclusive Insurance Scheme for Liability Insurance is available to DSA members. This scheme should offer practical and financial benefits when compared to the open market. Vehicle & Plant Insurance
Fehnert Plc can also provide members with plant cover and vehicle fleet cover on advantageous terms.

Freight Transport Association (FTA)

The DSA has a scheme whereby members can join the VANFTA which is specifically designed for commercial van users. This scheme provides a range of legal, advisory and practical services to assist in commercial vehicle operation. Further details from the DSA Office.

Debt Collection

Any member wishing to use an outside agency to collect a specific debt or debts can contact the DSA Office who have details of a firm offering a nationwide service.
